At first I didn't realize it was a storefront because I think they do the bulk of their business as pre-orders for events. But alas they do have a storefront that you can walk in. It's not a typical cupcakery storefront like Kara's or Sprinkles which is bright and cutesy located in a shopping area but more like a display case in front of their kitchen and office across the railroad tracks in an industrial area. Kind of looks like a hidden place you need a password for. They have 3 sizes of cupcakes which is nice to choose from: Large which I believe is the equivalent of 3 cupcakes, regular, and mini. A list sits outside where it shows the cupcakes offered for the day. You don't get as many options if you walk in, especially at the end of the day. I like the Jimmie cake which has sprinkles and the confetti cupcake the best.

Sibby's is now my favorite place for cupcakes. I have a life-threatening peanut and tree nut allergy and I was very excited to read that Sibby's is nut-free. My boyfriend and I visited on a Sunday to try out a few flavors and they were all delicious. We ordered the carrot cake (nut-free!), funfetti, and pumpkin cheesecake. *chef's kiss* The bakery is small and they have a displace case at the front with the available flavors. It's pretty cute inside with all the pink. The workers are all really friendly and nice, which is always a plus.

This cupcake place has the most friendliest staff and delicious cupcakes on the planet, and I've been to many cupcake places on Mars, where I met my wife who was born on planet Venus. My son also loves their cupcakes, but he is from the East Bay.

Ordered gluten free cupcakes from Sibby's, they were so knowledgeable about avoiding cross contamination and I am so grateful! Their cupcakes are delicious & the gf ones / can't even tell the difference. They have such a wide variety of flavors. Yes the cupcakes are a tad pricey, but worth it. Ordering, pickup, and consumption were All EASY and enjoyable experiences! Be sure to stop by and indulge!!!!

Ok, so if you're in the SF Peninsula and are looking for some amazing cupcakes.. LOOK NO FURTHER! I have lived in SF and used to amazing spots for food and desserts! This is my fave in the peninsula!! I always order a dozen cupcakes and love getting random flavours. Sibby's has great flavours and always tastes freshly baked and with simple, real ingredients. You can taste the sweetness without the artificial sweetness taste (if that makes sense)!?! I have tried many flavours and always satisfied with every bite! They are dangerously good! Be forwarded, you won't just want to eat one! This place is nestled near downtown San Mateo with street parking that is metered. The place is small in size but create many delicious desserts! The price point is on par with many high end bakeries that have amazing quality and taste. The staff is super friendly and helpful every time I had gone. If you're in the area, I highly recommend this place!! You won't be disappointed!!

My husband and I walked in to Sibby's and got 4 different cupcakes. It's mostly a place where you order in advance but they have some cupcakes for walk ins. I'm not too fond of eating big quantities of desserts so I really liked their mini size. We got the strawberry and cream (current special), red velvet, chocolate and cream and coconut snowball cupcakes. They were all delicious especially the strawberry and chocolate ones. The frosting is on the sweeter side but I guess most people like that in cupcakes. My husband is definitely looking forward to going back and trying their other flavors!

I was looking on Yelp for a custom cupcake shop and came across Sibbys. It was a very simple online process of placing my custom order for an engagement party. We got red velvet, vanilla, and lemon with cream cheese frosting. They were delicious as well as with a cute variety of designs. I would definitely recommend!

If you are gluten free or know someone who is, you have found your nirvana. Glorious flavors, beautiful creations and pure joy in a pink box. I've had these gf cupcakes many times, and they never disappoint. Friendly and prompt delivery available. Superb in every way.

I planned my sisters bridal shower and I am so glad I picked sibbys cupcakery for the mini cupcakes! They came out to be so cute/classy and exactly what I hoped it to be. When I was placing the order online I was a little worried because I didn't know what design they were going to use. I just wrote in the comments to do all white bridal theme and I am pleased with the way it turned out! I got the vanilla, confetti, and snickerdoodle flavors. My favorite was the snickerdoodle so I highly recommend getting that. I also loved how easy it was to pick it up - you just call and they bring it out. It's been 3 days since I picked it up and they still taste great! Will be ordering from them for my next event.

Having a super crappy week and decided my 8 Ozempic bites were going towards something satisfying and carb loaded lol - drove to Sibbys and there were already people in line right at opening. Ordered a single regular sized Choco Choco cupcake for myself . Took the long way home to drive on a very fast road, also to make myself feel better, then arrived home with my precious. It seemed a little small for over $4, but then if I think of getting a dozen for under $50, it seems appropriate, if delicious. Well I ate my precious forbidden cupcake and enjoyed each bit. I savored it. I loved it. I made it to 5 bites but it was so good I couldn't take smaller bites lol just delicious. I wasn't in the area, I have no excuse. I drove from home to Sibbys just for a cupcake and it was worth every bite and drop of gas lol
